"Hello Everybody,

My name is Jacklyn Dauler and I am extremely fortunate to have served as the President of Dig for Duke for the past two years. Currently, I am a sophomore studying business at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. My love for volleyball started in the 7th grade during club tryouts; years later, I completed my final season playing for NC Academy. What I love about Dig for Duke is how it not only embraces the competitive aspect of volleyball, but it also fosters community, sportsmanship, and friendship by supporting the Duke Children's Hospital.

Being apart of this organization has been incredibly rewarding, and I cannot wait to see everyone for our next tournament this October!"

“Hi everyone, my name is Emmy Jones and I am a freshman at NC State University in Textile Technology. My passion for volleyball began during my first year of high school and has been a large part of my life ever since. Competing in both beach and indoor volleyball, I have enjoyed pushing myself within the game, meeting new friends, and helping others to learn the sport I love. Whether I am playing or coaching, the sport has been an opportunity to build others up and find community.
I am so lucky to be apart of such an amazing program! I love that Dig for Duke combines the sport of volleyball with service that benefits others! Whether you’ve been playing volleyball tournaments regularly or have never done one before, I highly encourage you to grab a partner and enjoy a fun day of beach volleyball!  Meanwhile, proceeds go directly to help the children at Duke Children’s Hospital. Hope to see you there!”

"Hey everyone, my name is Jason and I am a senior at North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. I started playing beach volleyball at SSV in 6th grade and have been playing beach and indoor for around 6 years now!

One of the things I love most about Dig for Duke I am able to use my passion for volleyball to make a real difference in our community. It’s inspiring to see players, families, and volunteers come together to support the Duke Children’s Hospital while enjoying volleyball. I look forward to meeting and working with you all!"
